Quay Strings understand how important it is that your event runs as smoothly as possible. We are here to help and have lots of experience in providing music for such events. The music can help make guests feel comfortable as they arrive, removing awkward silences and providing an instant talking point.
In the run up to the day, Quay Strings will discuss appropriate repertoire to suit the occasion and setting, and will suggest pieces for accentuating the highlights of the day, for example the arrival of the bride, or guest of honour.
On the day:
- Quay Strings will be ready to provide background music for the guests 20 to 30 minutes before the ceremony.
- We can play for the entrance of the bride, and the music can be discussed to suit your requirements.
- The signing of the register is normally accompanied by a selection of works.
- The quartet can then play for the departure of the bride and groom, and continue until the guests have left.
- Quay Strings can then move to the venue of the reception, and set up ready to provide music for as long as you require.
